The Department of Journalism, Krishna Menon Memorial Govt. Women's College, was established in the academic year 1991-92. Initially, the department offered a complimentary course to BA English students. Our mission is to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and critical thinking abilities necessary to succeed in the dynamic and evolving field of journalism. Over the years, the department has evolved to meet the changing needs of students. With the implementation of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme in 2024-25, the department offers the following courses:
